What is Shared Parenting and Why is it Best?

Shared parenting is where children have the full involvement of both parents.  Research shows this best meets their needs.

Shared parenting, also known as 'joint parenting', are terms used for arrangements that ensure that children experience he full involvement in their lives of their separated parents with neither dominating. There is plenty of research that demonstrates that children's wellbeing is best met in shared parenting arrangements and they grow up to be healthier adults.

Government Consultation on Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Call for Evidence

The Government launched a survey to collect views which will directly inform the development of their strategy (which officially includes male victims of crimes such as domestic abuse). The deadline for submissions is Friday 19th February at 11:45pm.

New US Study Finds That Equal Custody Arrangements Narrows The Gender Pay Gap

A US study carried by Emma Johnson finds that the more parenting time equality single moms share with their children’s dads, the higher their income. As it happens it is good for the children too!
