CEO UPDATE

It was a great pleasure to take part in the UK-Poland Abduction crisis protest in and around Westminster a couple of weeks ago (see details further below). Making our point whenever we see inequity and unfairness in the system (which of course is often) can take many forms, peaceful protest of course being one of them.

Other ways are making sure we get a seat at the table to discuss solutions and some of the meetings we’ve had or shortly will have include with the President of the Family Division, senior officials at the Ministry of Justice (on early out-of-court resolution of cases), the Department of Work and Pensions (on child maintenance) and at CAFCASS (on a long list of issues!).

I and the board have been working on a number of organisational changes to the national set-up which I’ll update on at the conference in Manchester - hope to see many of you there, in-person or online.
